Just a little update.

So I sent the court documents they wanted for the things that showed up on my FBI report. I emailed scans of them while waiting for them to be mailed to me, apparently they were ok with that since they replied to me, so that's nice. In that reply though, they told me I needed to do another medical exam since mine expired yesterday. I guess that was a goof on my part, I figured since I was already in Canada that they only needed to be valid when they checked them. Oh well, no big deal, got those all done and they were sent to them earlier this week.

Hopefully hear something soon. They were actually really fast on getting back to me when I had to email them something, usually 2-3 days.

Congratulations to all of you guys that are finally finishing up! It's been quite a ride.

Can anyone give me an idea how long will it take after sending additional documents requested? Documents were requested after AOR2. Hope to hear from you guys! My last document request was December 7th. We have our visa now so I'm not sure what the hold up is? Maybe you should call to see what is going on.

Has your background check started yet? I got a request for additional documents on December 9th and my background check changed to "in progress" on January 18th. I'm still waiting on those two magic words "decision made"

She does have one, when I linked the application to her account it removed it from mine though... I put it back on mine account but she Got the email on January 20th too. is it better for her to add the application than me?

I am not sure, I had mine as the principal applicant linked, I thought that's what it's supposed to be.

My husband and I both made GCKey accounts initially and tried linking, and then when one of us finally got it linked (I'm the PA, and I ended up finding the magic combination), we left it where it was. We both log into the account from our respective computers. I don't think that it necessarily really matters one way or the other who actually has the account linked as long as you'd be letting her know about any changes and/or she is able to log in and view things as well.

MyCIC updated and shows the application as CLOSED and APPROVED. I don't have the tracking # for my envelope but hopefully this means it's on the way soon!

I got the same thing yesterday sometime in the afternoon.

Tracking code # for the return envelope didn't show up until 6pm in the evening.

HI QUICK QUESTION, FOR ANYONE WHO HAS GONE THROUGH THE APPROVAL ALREADY. IM CURRENTLY WORKING ON MY APPLICATION.

**for photographs or visa stamps/passports etc, I have provided all this on a word document, they are scanned versions, i put them in word and captioned them there, is this okay

or better to provide photographs in the normal 4x6 photo paper?**

I haven't heard from them after I sent back email and my background is in progress from 1/16 or earlier.
I'm impatiently waiting to see "decision made" )))

Check MyCIC today and the PR application status has been changed to "Approved". What a relieve! Hope to receive the COPR letter within a few days.

We can now put sell our house, find a company to transport our dog to Canada, find a mover and start packing. It is going to be a monumental task.
