Congrats! Wow that's a long time to get through immigration! We're also going to Vancouver island but planned on staying in Vancouver overnight just because I wasn't sure how long everything would take once we landed. Sounds like it can take quite a while...

I guess just better stay overnight, just to be sure it get everything done . there are few other miss their flight too, as wasn't expected by everyone I guess.
It just , only 1 or 2 officer at the counter to check and interview and takes awhile for 1 person to get it done .

Cheers!

I think it's too soon to assume that, I will see how it's gonna be this week.

In my last 10 years of shipping and receiving hundreds of packages every year I have not lost 1 package tracked or not. I would highly argue it was NOT lost but rather just hasn't been mailed by Ottawa yet...

Agree. I never expect too much with CIC in terms of doing things fast.

Lucky you, COPR this week! My tracking number is not active yet :(

My package finally got to Ottawa on Friday (I think). I keep checking the return tracking number and it appears to not have been sent yet.

Mine got to Ottawa on Wednesday. Return envelope appears to not have been set yet either.

I guess we will see. Generally speaking you can probably be sure it will take at least 24-48 hours before anyone even looks at what you sent them. My "guess" is you guys will have the COPR mailed back by Friday this week...or sure hope so based on what I've seen in the past!

Anything other than a return saying I did not send the correct info, or the photos are no good works for me.

Hi Everyone,

I'm so confused... Paris VO requested extra info (personal history of 1 year interval) 2 weeks ago and I had replied to them last week. Checking ecas (no access to mycic because i have representative), they state that they sent another "correspondence" today requesting information or documents. The progress on ecas is still listed as "in progress". I am so confused as to what they can be requesting, wouldn't they have requested everything at once instead of making 2 different document requests? I don't know what they are requesting until my rep send me the information.

Any thoughts?

perhaps it's your passport request, as it is commonly sent during the "in process" stage. you'll have to wait to see what your representative says.

I guess so! Thank you for your thoughts on it, I always thought that the passport request was sent after the application was approved. I just get anxious because I don't get the full updates like what everyone on "mycic" get. I guess i just have to wait until my rep updates me. Many thanks! :)

No, not necessarily. it's going to depend on the visa office and whether the applicant needs a visa to travel to canada. Many visa offices do it differently. Technically, the application can't be "approved" until the RPRF is paid, so i would imagine people won't see DM until at least then. For visa exempt applicants, DM generally means the approval paper has been mailed out, and for those requiring a visa to travel to canada, DM can mean the passport request has been sent/or will be sent.
