Let us just hope and pray this week. But just to give you an update regarding June applicants, some of them are getting their PPR just this month, so probably we will soon get ours... We will soon get our... Good luck and stay cool!

You're not alone. I haven't heard anything since my application was transferred to Ottawa on October 20th :|

I haven't even started background check yet and I have the most straightforward case.

Just for comparison your file was transferred to Ottawa October 20th. Some of us here now getting DM had our transfer late August/Early September (for me it Was August 22nd!). That means you're about 1-2 months behind in the queue. For most, it took on average 3 months after file transfer to get an in-process background check. So for you, this is the month you should expect a background check-in process; so be a tiny bit more patient you're almost there!!!

I shouldn't complain, cause I've already been in Canada for over a year now and able to work. Sometimes I get caught up in everyone's excitement and cant help but think like AHHH where is mine?!?! forgetting a lot of people don't get to be with their spouse during this wait!

Yes definitely true. A lot of the speed depends on luck to be honest. But the good news is you're already in Canada with your spouse so definitely a good thing!

Same here. Still no change on CIC. Just on ECAS.
