I didn't check status yesterday to avoid expecting there will be update or PPR email cause sometimes, makes me feel frustrated when I see no update , so I just pray , for this perfect timing.

Congrats! You should be excited! Me too got decision made yesterday Dec. 10, and Im still waiting for that PPR Email. And because I was too excited, I already files my resignation at work. Lol PPR to all of us here!

Where are you applying from?

I'm applying from the US and my VO is Ottawa, so luckily mailing it myself should have it arrive within days.

I feel bad for your extra 8-10 weeks waiting time; that's incredibly long to add on top of an already long wait. If you do end up needed to send a duplicate copy though, seeing as it's Hong Kong which I believe has it's own postal system separate from China, surely there must be faster mailing options that you could use.

Either way, I hope your application goes through quickly. Hearing so many August applicants getting final decisions and nearing the end gives me hope that my wait won't be too much longer.

It looks like we are having a lot of updates this week all over the world. Just hoping that all August applicants will be granted the soonest so that those following months will be the next... We still have one day left for this week. I just hope to get mine and to those who's waiting. Let us all pray harder! It is getting exciting... Absolutely! You are next! I really need to figure out the whole flagpolling thing. Are you guys both already in Canada?? Thank you for always giving me a positive perspective and always being rational during this crazy wait - you have no idea how much is helped! Really!

No problem! We're actually in the US and planning to move sometime this Spring so hopefully as long as we have the PR card by then! We are planning on flagpolling INTO Canada to get the PR and come back for a few months to finish my job in the US, but you can also do it in reverse (go into the US and enter back into Canada). Look up in the search for people who have done the same as you I am sure there are dozens!
