Hello everyone,

I'm sponsoring my wife from China. Our application was received on August 5th, and we successfully linked our application (via GCKey) on August 24th. Medicals received and AOR1 on August 26th. We could access ECAS a day later, which stated that sponsorship processing had started on the 25th.

Still haven't received SA yet, though, like other early August applicants, but we're hoping for good news after the long weekend.

Congratulations to everyone who got their AOR1 and SA already. Seems like processing is moving fast these days.

We got our AOR1 by email, but it was sent within 4 minutes apart of an email saying our GC account updated, which was the medical.

It appears that GC account only shows stuff pertaining the principal applicant, while ECAS shows both (but it's much more limited).

It is possible to link the account on GCKey before AOR1. I used the "Family Name, Given Name and Date of Birth" combination, as well. Make sure the information is formatted exactly like on IMM 0008 and the number of family members doesn't include the sponsor.

However, I didn't attempt to link it until 19 days after the CIC received our application (I didn't know about it earlier), so I'm not sure how early they had our record in the system.

I wasn't able to access our application through ECAS until a day after AOR1 was received.

Since your application was received August 30th, I'd give it more time. Good luck!

Hello, I received my AOR1 last week and still cannot link. I have tried everything, every combination. I am the sponsor so I enter my BFs info. No luck. I would think that by using the Application # and UCI # it would be found. Nothing. All I can do is keep trying. Best of luck to you!!

just quick confirmation, did you used sponsor details or sponsored details ? Boz IMM 0008 is for sponsored not for sponsor .

I just realized today though that I made a mistake on one of the forms.

There wasn't any gap, but it's too late for me to realize that I have to start from the most recent information. I started the order from the day my husband turned 18 years old. (I filled it out for him)
