Application Received today by R. Mehmood at CPC .

Does anyone`s application received by same person ? I send it via Canada post.

He/She was also the one who signed and received my application. We send it thru Canada Post. I havent received any email (AOR) from CIC til now

AOR 1 received today! I thought they would send it to me (the sponsor) but it was sent to my husband's e-mail address even though it said "Dear MY NAME."

It took 21 days from CIC receiving our application to getting AOR 1.

Now to look out for sponsor approval!

I just noticed that those who have received their AOR 1 already are the ones who have submitted their application on the first week of August. If you applied in mid-August (like me), then, expect your AOR 1 a couple of weeks later than theirs.

Scroll down and click Continue to GCKey and create your account using all the information you have.

Use the sponsored person's information (put as much information as you can so that it'll be easier for the system to read, retrieve and link your application).

Yes, it's possible to link your account even without AOR1.

Guys... Can anyone please suggest me on something.. Appreciate your help and support.

Its a small question that came across in my mind.. Might be a dumb question... Any idea when does the medical results are assessed??? As in... Is it before transferring the file to visa office or before??

I spents a few months preparing my application and getting everything in order.
I sent my application in August 9th 2016, it was received August 10th.
UCI & Application number received today, August 31st.

I was not able to link my application yet (got it wrong too many times) but will surely keep you all updated :-*

Same here!! No link. I am wondering if I need to enter MY information when linking (I am the sponsor, sponsoring my common-law partner).

Use the sponsored person's information The more information you put, the better chance of linking the application. It took me a number of tries too ;D

Others wait for medical request, but my husband did the upfront medical exam. He was given a proof of medical exam and we had it submitted with the whole application package.

Thank you Lirabells for the reply. We submitted that too along with the application. What i am thinking and is coming to my mind is.. Do they access these exams at the time of first review and before sending it to VISA OFFICE or do they access them after it reaches the VISA OFFICE and come up with the results. Any thoughts ?
