Just out of curiosity - Has anyone received their application back for incompleteness or errors? If so, how fast do you get notified? What were the errors that made you application inadmissible? Perhaps that info will help other avoid those errors.

Hi all,
We have finally sent in our application last week after working on it for-(what seems like)ever. Yay! But... I haven't heard anything yet and I'm unable to log in and link my application. I sent everything with UPS and it should have only taken two days, should have arrived Aug 24th, but according to the track and trace it still hasn't been delivered???
How did you all find out when your file was received? Does the case processing centre send an email to you?
Did UPS screw up? I sure hope not :'( :'(

Btw, I'm a Canadian living in the Netherlands with my Dutch husband and our two children. We're hoping everything will go quickly (once they actually receive the application).

Keep checking your tracking. AOR1(Acknowledgement of Receipt) shows up about 20 days after they receive it. And some people don't get that at all. For some the first confirmation comes with the SA approval letter. Good luck!

I was able to link my application today. My package was recieved last Tuesday. I used my husband's last name, first name, birth date, city and country of birth, and where he plans to stay. For the number of applicants, I put 1 and it worked.
Obviously, no info has been added but I'm glad I could at least link the application hopefully, the next step is to receive AOR1...

We have the similar timeline. I sent through UPS too but it was from Ottawa to Toronto. My tracking was updated but UPS sent me the email confirmation three days later on. I didn't receive anything from CIC. I was just able to link my application. Try to put 3 for the number of applicants and that might work (excluding yourself). I kept putting 2 and it wasn't linking (we don't have any children). Good luck, I hope it will work for you too..

Hi, I'm a Canadian living in Canada. I applied for outland spousal sponsorship of my wife living in the Netherlands. Package mailed out August 25th, delivered to case processing centre in Mississauga on August 29th. ^^ Now just waiting for some kind of contact!

They have worked there a long time. The signature is quite common.

I am 32 year old indian happy wife(common law) My Canadian love who is 58 We live together in Nepal from 6 years .
I read lot about getting red flag because of age gap but I am not worry about it at all.

Cant wait to join waiting game.
