I was thinking yesterday that some applicants near the beginning of August should be getting their AOR soon. My hunch was right. Congrats!

My eyes were pulled towards my e-mail all too frequently anticipating the ding of arrival.
With every little step it feels a little more real.

Thanks all for the assistance and concern; we are a great group.

I'm certain my fellow Augustians will be getting their own 'ding' soon as well.

Finally able to link the application under MyCIC and have an application number.

At least that's a start ;D

Fantastic news. I maxxed out my attempts for 24hrs. Hope I can too. Started to get worried that perhaps I filled out something/anything incorrectly in my app. Eek!

I had to include my wife's maiden name in the Given Names field and her surname as my last name in the Surname field. That's how we filed the forms.

Maybe give that a shot after the 24hrs has passed.

Yeah I got locked out plenty of times before I was able to finally link my application!!

Although now someone in another thread has me worried. I entered the number 1 in the area where it asks how many family members are included in the application and only then was I able to link my application. Other people are saying that they all wrote down 2 (sponsor and principal applicant). The person was saying that CIC maybe entered our info in incorrectly??? I'm slightly worried!

Welcome to the waiting game! :) 8) :D

So jealous of you who got AOR already! Our application was received August 9 and no word yet :(
