Hi Everyone.

I am applying for family class sponsorship in august last week.
please help me abt how to organise photos as proof. how many photos should i select for application and how to send so many photos as i have seen others they are sending upto 300 or 400 photos. i am shocked how to send so many pics. please guide me.
thank you in advance.

I also answered you in the July 2016 post (I had assumed it was already the August 2016 post)

Hi, I guess it depends on how long you have been together. Some people like to have their pictures taken, and others (like me) don't have many because I hate my picture being taken. Most people put them in order, explaining where it was taken and what was happening during the picture. Some people put 4 pictures to a page. My husband works out of the country a lot (I am living in his home country) so I had even fewer pictures of us together, so I have pictures of my daughter and his family (since I don't like getting my picture taken). I wish 5 years ago, I would have known we were going to apply for PR then I might have made an effort to take more pictures. Definitely have pictures of your wedding (if you had one, once again, I didn't have a formal wedding or pictures to prove it, lol....yah I know NOW), honeymoon, vacations together. Pictures with each others families with you (he has never met my family because he is not allowed a visitors visa). I hope that helps. Good Luck!!! The actual waiting is the worst part.

Hey everyone! I just sent in my application and it should arrive in Mississauga by tomorrow!

I'm from Canada (living here currently) and I'm sponsoring my spouse...He is American (living in the States currently). We've been long-distance our entire relationship - 6 years total, married for 3 years.

I'm nervous and anxious, naturally. But now I'm even more nervous. I can't do anything about the application now so I keep reading the forum and it's making me feel worse!

My husband was in a common-law relationship before he met me and they have a son (a dependent that we declared as non-accompanying since he will remain in the States with his mom). We did declare my husband as previously being in a common-law relationship but did not include any sort of declaration of severance of common-law relationship type form. I wasn't aware that this had to be included. My husband and I were married here in Canada and obviously did include our marriage certificate.

Anyone know if we may run into issues? Best case scenario is that they just request it later on in the process as they're going through our application...

Any thoughts?

Thanks! And I look forward to connecting with you all as we sit and wait!

Yes, the declaration is required.

Did the child undergo the medical?

Great :( So should I wait till they request it? Or send one as soon as I get my SA?

The child did undergo the medical. So we're ok there.

As soon as you have the file number I would send it.

Sending it now they will never be able to match it to your app.

I have sent my package today in the morning ;D

I belong to this thread! 8) CPC Mississauga just received our application this morning. :)

I just realized today though that I made a mistake on one of the forms.

#8 IMM5669
Personal History

There wasn't any gap, but it's too late for me to realize that I have to start from the most recent information. I started the order from the day my husband turned 18 years old. (I filled it out for him)

:(

Best of Good luck to us , soon we will submit our application.

Just sent package out this morning via FedEx. Package should arrive tomorrow.

Totally feeling nervous about the whole thing wondering how this will all go.

Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed and that I dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's correctly even though I checked it 100 times Lol!

Good luck to all August applicants.

Wow that's a lot of preparation work. Good for you :)

Just when I was signing the sponsorship forms I realized I forgot to have my wife sign IMM1344 and had to send it back to Cebu two weeks ago and just got it back yesterday.

There's so much to include with the forms that it is easy to forget something but eventually you have to trust yourself. That's what I am telling myself :D

Good luck with your application crazy D

I just sent my application today with Purolator and CIC is supposed to receive it tomorrow. Good luck to all on this journey!
