Your friend is very lucky his app wasn't also returned.

I'm assuming your wife is visiting and you entered her residential address as her home address in her country and yours for mailing. Can't do that without submitting the Use of Representative form. CIC needs permission to send correspondence concerning your wife to an address other than her residence, even if it's to the sponsors address.

Put both mailing and residential addresses as your address and send it back.

If she's "visiting" she is also "residing" at your address. There is no issue with putting your address as her residence. ;)

Well then.. you should put both addresses as her home address in her country or submit the representative form.

I was under the impression you put your address for mailing because she was there.

It's a very common issue lol.

Another common issue lol, people seem to always read my username as "Blue" haha.

Bule is the Indonesian slur for foreigner and it's pronounced "Bu-lay". Lol

After two months of work, at last dropped my application which was recieved by CPC Mississauga on 8th Aug. Is there any way of checking status of the application before AOR1?

No

DHL picked up my app on Aug 11 and it was delivered to CIC Mississauga on Aug 12.

My package is kind of trim, other than the forms, only 25 additional pages. 11 pages of photo (4 to a page), 4 pages of IDs & cert., 4 pages of financial statements, 1 page of medical check receipt, 1 page of fee receipt, 4 pages of notes.

VO and nationality?

I sincerely hope it's Ottawa and American or you're likely in for a rough ride.

Why would you submit essentially no relationship proof?

We have been married for 14 years, surely that is enough.

Fair enough.

The application, does ask for proof of relationship though, and doesn't provide for exemptions due to people being married for x amount of time.
