Hi guys, just want to share and ask for those who received their AOR2.
Upon checking my email, I've noticed when I received notification email from mycic which match the date when we received our AOR1 and SA. When the time I was able to link my app that's when my husband received AOR1 then, when I got email that my account has been updated that's the time when my husband received SA.
Just wondering for those got AOR2 , did you guys received email of your mycic status update ?

My husband's visa was issued today as well..I still can't believe it..I will be forever grateful to God. I will pray and wish for the fast processing time for the rest of the group. Keep all the good news coming

Any idea how long it takes ECAS to update after SA? MyCIC updated this weekend and I received SA letter two days ago but ECAS still says "in process".

It seems like the SA side of ECAS is updated in 'batch updates' every month or 2 - I'm serious, it's crazy. I got SA and it remained 'In Process' until a huge update went through in August or September. It then changed to DM. Tons of people on the forum also reported theirs changed on that date. The good news is you got the letter!

Oh thanks. Thought once they make update it's automatically have notifications via email.
Just don't want to miss any update, like if they asked for additional docs Or whatsoever.

I had received request for new PR Photos fr my husband yesterday via mycic. LVO claims that previously submitted photos are not according to specification. Though we went to a fine studio and I measured those after they were printed Shocked

Anyways, we went to another big studio in Dubai yesterday and got new ones expensive ones. The filipino photographer confused me regarding the instructions about the "crown of head to chin". The instructions ask that the distance from chin to crown should be between 31-36mm.
Does crown of head includes Hair?? My husband has more hair and no matter how much we brushed them with water, they didn't become flat. She measured 36mm from chin to top of the hair and the distance between his chin and top of forehead was 25mm.

Secondly the shoulders did nt show completely because if she tried to include the shoulders then the face measurements changed Undecided Now the final photos I have show the face in the middle of the photo. The distance between chin and top of forehead(from where the hairline starts) is 32mm. However from the top of his hair to chin is 39mm. Are these ok??? I scanned a pic and uploaded in mycic as per instructions but i still need to send out the printed version. Guys plz comment, Thank You

congratulations to you and your husband , as for sure we do have very similar cases . same nationality and Visa office i really appreciate if you can answer me following Questions :

1- did you or your husband has received any SA email or your file has been transferred to Ankara and you have just received AOR2 ?
2- I also like your husband used to leave outside our country for many years , do you think it is an advantage ?
3- if you want to party for this visa applications do you want me to invite best Dj and many same nationality gusts ?

we filed our application on 8th september
AOR1 received 5th October
hopefully rest will come soon

Are you saying that you have not received AOR1 or sponsorship approval yet?? I have received AOR1, SA and AOR2 and our application has been "review in process" since Sept 09/16. I think the "review in process" can take quite a bit of time.

Final Decision: This application has been approved.

I think that is typical. You can see that it was received by accra, I think it just takes a while. Afterall, the website does quote up to 13 months. So anywhere from now, till then - Hopefully sooner! I am just as impatient as everyone. I check CIC every single day. It's tiring, I know. Best of luck. I trust you will have good news soon! Cheers
