I received another test invite from IRCC with correct location this time and they also included an invite for oath-taking the same day (November & at 2:00pm)

Goodluck. I would prefer to have it that way. It saves time and I only need to take 1 day off work.

Just an update. Fingerprints done. It was quick and hopefully, it will not cause a significant delay.

Best of luck.

Are they going to send it you?

I went through an accredited office that handles finger prints. Basically, they will electronically forward it to RCMP. RCMP will process it for 72 hours and will send the results directly to the citizenship office. They noted the UCI and App number. So I will probably check by next week if they received the results and call the call centre.

How about yours? What is going on in your process?

I did the Fingerprints this morning.
It took about 5 minutes, everything went smooth.
The lady there told me, RCMP might take up to 10 days to process this :o

I'll call CIC next week to find out if they received the results.

I wonder why the correspondence is with office in Toronto and not in Kitchener (my local office)???

Patience is a virtue :-X :'(

Hi Rogers2016, i had to submit my fingerprints too and i thought it's going to delay my application, honestly it didn't. if you submit your fingerprints as soon as you received the letter then it shouldn't take time. also RCMP as usually fast in processing.
moreover, during my waiting period i called CIC to see if they received my report but they didn't give me any information and they said we will contact you if there is anything wrong so don't worry :

good luck

I agree with Akramborno, and would like to add that you can contact RCMP by email after 2-3 days, they will inform you if they have already sent it to IRCC or not yet. if you call IRCC they will not give you any useful information. for RCMP, if there is no match, they will do it and send it to IRCC during maximum 3 days, but if there is any match, in this last case could take more than 120 days. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry. Not all oath dates are listed on the website. I would call to make absolutely sure.

Thanks for the information. I will send an email to RCMP to check the status.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to know that negative matches are processed accordingly.
