I received my test invite today. I am scheduled to take the test on November 7 at 11am. :)

I'm just a little curious. My exam location is not in Calgary but in Red Deer and there's also another page included in the package about an Oath-taking on the same day in Calgary at 2pm. Anyone who received the same invite?

Hello dudegujrat

I have no idea what this means. You will probably get the letter next week. Best wishes!

that means they sent you the Fingerprint Request Letter by mail, i received the same.. you need this letter to be able to do your fingerprint, its easy and will not delay your application but do it as soon as you get the letter.
all the details will be in the letter.

Hi all,

I have found this forum rather late, but happy to be here.
As for my timeline, I applied Aug. 8, then again at Aug. 24, because I had to add some more documents. I have received, my invitation letter for test on Oct. 21, and my test should be in Mississauga on November 15 at 7:45 am. Thing is it is sooner than I expected, and I did not study at all. Now I am sooo nervous. Is there anyone else who will be testing in Mississauga, and If there are some of you who already apssed your test? Is it hard? Are there questions that are not from our study guide? And does anyone has any clue how soon after the test we should have ceremony??

Thank you!

You have more than enough time to get ready for the test ;)! I had 11 days between notification and test date and it was fine. Read the book several times and here are some online tests I used: http://citizenshipcounts.ca/study ; http://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/

Hi all I have one question.

They ask me for finger prints is it okay if I go to my local police station which is not RCMP.
In the letter IRCC mentioned that police sometimes forward original results to the applicant then immediately forward that to us at Vancouver office not my original case office which is surrey. How does this whole scenario works. Bit confusing please help my friends.
