Hi all checked mine ecas it's active now.

At step 3. It says we started processing on September 15.

Checked mine and still in AOR. I guess Toronto is not moving as fast as brampton.

i don't know if doing all schooling in canada was a plus for me not sure..but mine was faster than i expected

So, I have been checking my status since I received my AOR on Sep 12th, but nothing changed in eCas but mysteriously my application status is now "In process" when I checked this morning(Sep 17) but says CIC started processing my application on Sep 14th.


Quite Interesting ;D

wanna bet us from brampton will be citizens by or before november 30?..i think us august will be the last set of oath ceremonies for 2016.

Curious to know, what happens after receiving AOR. Do they transfer the file to the local office immediately ? and "In process" status means local office received the file from Nova Scotia ?

Curious to know, what happens after receiving AOR. Do they transfer the file to the local office immediately ? and "In process" status means local office received the file from Nova Scotia ?

In process means your file started to process with an assigned immigration officer from CIC , you will best ask to write test in your nearest test center and your record will be verified

Question: Once eCas has been updated, does that mean file has started being in process, or should I wait to receive the "In process" as a Status? The IRCC website indicated there is a Test scheduled to take place on Oct 12, 2016, does that mean I'll be able to sit for the test on this date?
Please advise.
