Hello everyone...just wondering if someone knows something about how long it takes to get police record in mexico... they dont show timeline and thats the only thing I need I already got my police record from the other countrys i used to live but for the mexican one is just a nightmare...I already sent my fingerprints to the canadian embassy in mexico city since I dont live in there anymore, but no one tells you about the process, If someone knows and can share the info will be awesome! Thanks

Is your wife the sponsor and you are the applicant?

My husband is my sponsor and his ECAS says in process yet he received the SA approval email this week. I'm the applicant and my ECAS says in process and under that 2 lines; we received your application on August 12 and medical received.

I'm so confused by what everything means and in what order it goes, I just know after SA we just need to wait until we hear from our VO.

Im the sponsor my wife is the applicant. ECAS is a mess, I have SA and still cannot log into my side of ECAS, my wife can with no problem.

I already did, but they dont know ...what they know is the timeline when you do it in Mexico, not outside Mexico, is like a mistery, ok then, thanks a lot anyway, and good luck to you all

No ..the thing is the way to get police record when you are outside mexico is by sending fingerprints to the canadian embassy in Mexico, they are the ones that do that for you and then they transfer that file to the canadian embassy in my country, I will probably send them an email and asked them. Thanks a lot

Hi everyone. First time posting on this forum. My partner and are in the August Outland bunch too (though we both live in Canada now)- application was received Aug 8th.

I'm hoping someone can help me understand my online status. My portion, the sponsorship app, began processing Aug 8th. It has stayed as "in process" ever since then. My partner's PR app began processing Sept 17th, with his medical results being received a month or so after. His has recently changed to "decision made". We are very confused as we thought that a decision had to be made on my sponsorship before his PR. I read the explanations of the different statuses, and it looks like "decision made" can also just mean that a decision has been made on his medical? It's all very strange. We intend to try to call tomorrow but it is very hard to get through, so I wanted to try my luck with others going through the process.

It's more than likely that you received Sponsorship Approval already and they either didn't send you an email, or it got lost somehow. If you call, you'd be able to get a confirmation. Most likely if it states Decision made is that it is the end of the process for you - which VO was processing your application? Some are quite fast.
