My application was received on 20 August, we seem to have with the same agent that runs on our applications. Today is 72 days. I hope that will be soon and the process to finish.

I got an extra line saying "We started processing XXX application on October 26, 2015." under the application In Process, but I still havent received any email. You should check yours

Thank you.. Have you gotten anything yet?

Nope. I am still sitting at Medical Received as of today October 30, 2015. I am not sure what is next after this part of the stage. I wish there was a step by step guide or something that tells us what goes on with these processes.

Oh acronyms...

SA? Sponsorship Approval?
AOR1? Acknowledgement of Receipt (of what, entire application)?
AOR2? Acknowledgement of Receipt (of what, Visa Office for principal applicant receiving application)?
VO? Visa Office?

Does anyone know what goes on after Medical Results received?

Sorry, getting antsy.

GRATS!

I've been reading up on earlier applications, specifically looking at the US to Canada. I've seen time frames of 5 to 6 months, and some up to 10 months. So I guess I will stop checking up on the eCAS until about Jan. 4th. It is a good thing my visitor extension has been approved until August 2016 :D.

Did you receive SA?

The time frames for PR are so wonky I've seen some US citizens get PR in 3 months others taking over 11 months, makes no sense.
I was checking ECAS hourly before we got SA but now that I have it I told myself to stop checking do much! It can make you crazy.
I'm still waiting on my most recent visitor status extension as my last one expired October 11 so technically I'm on an implied status which make me nervous. We live very close to the US border in Ontario and I'm thinking of crossing into the US and back into Canada and requesting a visitor record, I've heard some US citizens with a PR app in process have had good luck with a VR.

I hope everyone's applications go quickly and smoothly!

My girlfriend has received Sponsor Approval on Sept 28th.
My application was received on October 1st where it has been marked as "In Process".
Medical Results Received was noted on eCAS approximately on October 13.

So about 2 months and 4 business days since they received our application on August 4th. I hope I fall under the 3 months Decision Made category (smile). That would be awesome.

I have a calendar on my computer I modify every now and then to keep up on time frames.

Would you look at that.... the SA email finally arrived. haha

I think carr1 and I both had the same person looking over our documents. ;)

FYI, I called last Friday and they said that I had been approved; it's just that the email finally came in today. (two weeks later than expected, but still, better late than never :P)

Question, on my wifes side it says that she is in process yet no where when you log into and see does it say besides the under the permanent resident status. I still have 2 lines and those are we received your app blah blah and medical results have been received. So is she in process?

Whoohoo! I'm sure we had the same person who apparently was sleeping for 2 weeks!!

Is your wife the sponsor and you are the applicant?

My husband is my sponsor and his ECAS says in process yet he received the SA approval email this week. I'm the applicant and my ECAS says in process and under that 2 lines; we received your application on August 12 and medical received.

I'm so confused by what everything means and in what order it goes, I just know after SA we just need to wait until we hear from our VO.
