I haven't received SA yet, but my husbands status in ecas changed to In Process today.. So I'm assuming that means SA was granted? We didn't receive an AOR e-mail either, just was able to log in to ecas eventually.

Congrats!!
Apparently I'm the only one that has that timeline who hasn't received SA yet, we called again yesterday and was told it can take up to 3 months for CPC Mississauga to respond to our email request. I just can't figure out why our app isn't SA approved yet and sent to Ottawa.

You are not the only one. I am in the same boat. It is hard to see everybody getting their SA´s and we being left behind.

Scratch my last post.
I called CIC and was told my sponsorship approval letter was mailed out October 16. That makes 53 days for SA for us. (August 20th applicants)

I am wondering what number did you call, I tried calling today, but they wouldn't check my status for me. (August 21st applicants)

They won't check your status until you have passed the date on the website, currently Aug 17th.

I called 1-888-242-2100, I told him we were an August 20th application but we are passed the 63 days posted on their site. He was insanely nice, and very quick to verify me, and check our file. He let me know my letter of sponsor approval was mailed out October 16th, that I should have it by mid next week at the latest, and my husbands file is being transferred to Ottawa right now. I had a wait time of 14 minutes before I got through. For my first call to CIC I feel spoiled, he was a great rep.

I tried two times, both wouldn't help me because they said they are only processing Aug. 17th application.

You seem to have gotten a good one :) there are so many that just refuse to do anything until you get passed the date.

Have you tried calling? If you are past the processing date online they can help you, if you've been approved for SA they will let you know if you haven't they will send Mississauga an email to provide an update. Mississauga has 3 months to respond to the update request.

My husband called again today (4th time) this agent was a little nicer and told him that everything has been received including Canada police reports, my FBI report and medical and our app is sitting on someone's desk waiting for an approval or denial.

It just makes no sense to me how apps aren't processed in order, I see some September applicants already have SA. I'm so happy for everyone that is receiving approvals but would like to see some order. I wish I could figure out the rhyme and reason, lol. Let's hope is all waiting past the processing time for SA don't see this same pattern all the way through to PR! Maybe slow in this step means fast for PR?!

Honestly I think its just the luck of the draw which desk your app lands on, mine was fast but never told us anything, some get all the notifications but it takes longer, yours seems to be napping haha ::)

I think that the person who already received SA from Sept got VERY lucky, I think somehow the app was on the top of a pile when it shouldn't have been. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them but I know what you mean, it should be in order.

Napping? It feels like hibernation!! Haha!! I always joke with my husband when we are at the grocery store that he always picks the longest line, apparently his luck is following us in this process too ;)

Greetings everybody. My husband sent the application on August 20, and we still have not received an email from Mississauga. Whether we can tell someone what's going on? How can I check our online application. Can someone help me?
