AUGUST 2015 - OUTLAND Applications

Its been 62 days no SA and still can't login to Ecas from the Sponsor side. ???
 
Well its a new week and hopefully some SA's, Il be calling CIC today.
 
I got off the phone with a CIC agent, I had asked about the sponsor side not being able to log in and see the info and what the agent had told me is that I cant see it due to the possible reason that the application has not been opened. I had also asked the wait for SA and he told me it takes 60 days to get approved from the time they open it. Im at day 59.
 
Called for a second time, standard we are currently processing August 14th blah blah blah, but this time what the agent was able to tell me was this for anyone who is having troubles logging in as a sponsor you will have to wait until they update the processing times with the date they received your app

Thanks for sharing. Look like we have to wait another week or 2 for SA.
 
Wanted to share our dates :) We got SA via email this past Friday, Oct 16. Our file has been transferred to the Lima office. I just logged in to ECAS, and it shows on the Applicant side that they started to process our Application Oct 14, and Medicals have been received. No email from the Lima office, but I take it as AOR2.

Our application was recieved on August 13.
The AOR was received on September 19.

Ecas status is In Process for both of the applications (Sponsor & Permanent Residence).
We didn't get the SA email but there is a new row on my Permanent Residence Application Status:
"We started processing XXX XXX's application on October 7, 2015."

Usually, do they start the Permanent Residence application process if there is no SA ?
Doe's it mean that the SA was granted ?

It's so confusing, I feel like they don't process application in order. Because I'm a september applicant, my application was received on september 10 and I promptly received my sponsor approval and confirmation that they started processing the file at the visa office. So I don't really believe their excuse of working on August 14 applications...am I missing something? It just seems disorganized.

Congrats on your SA and your file moving quickly!

There seems to be no rhyme or reason on why some files move quickly and others are at a stand still! My app was received on August 12 and still no SA, we've called CIC as the website states they are processing August 14 apps and was given the run around and was told they will email our case processor last week. My ECAS still just says in process and no email from CIC on what the hold up is. The whole process is frustrating, while I'm lucky I get to be in Canada with my husband as my app is processed I would love to be able to work and pay taxes here. :'(

Thankyou:) I really hope your application gets processed rapidly. I understand how frustrating it can be. I've been away from my husband for only 6 weeks and I already miss him so much. I don't how we will survive 14 months if it takes that long :(

Oh my heart breaks when I hear stories like that! 6 weeks is too long, I couldn't imagine 14 months! Fingers crossed it goes quick for you and you're reunited soon. The wait is so hard for families.

The same thing happened to our application, if it says that the VO has it now. Unless you indicated to keep processing the application if SA is refused you more than likely got SA. We got that line Oct 6th as well, on the 15th SA arrived in the mail (after confirmation from Syd) whats your VO?

That's awesome news.. Congrat.. How many days in total you waited for your SA?

Hi,
Thanks for the information.
It helps knowing other people experience.
My VO is Tel Aviv, but I have no idea if the application was returned from Mississauga.
