Someone on the Sept thread is claiming to have gotten SA in 11 days!! Don't know how thats possible ::)

This is honestly the most frustrating process I have gone through, and it's just started..
I am thankful that I make enough for my husband to come stay with me while the application processes, because it sure seems like it will take awhile.

Yeah.. That can't be possible.. If it is they got lucky.. Lol

Yeah very lucky! I almost wonder if it was an inland applicant from last sept, timeline would make more sense..

It is a frustrating process I agree, SA is meant to be the straight forward part.

I was bored so I did some math haha.. CIC gets around 50,000 family class applications a year which is roughly 136 per day, rounding up to account for weekends that's 199 per day. I'm not sure of staff numbers working solely on SA but you'd figure minimum of 50, thats just 4 applications per person per day to complete! Even if you round it down to 20 workers thats still only 10 applications daily! A little over 1 an hour... Unless I'm mistaken SA is just checking sponsor forms, checking option c, criminal history right?? Maybe I'm missing something or else these guys need a productivity review... End rant for the day hahaha

Hi :)

Any good news? August applicant?

Day 38 for us, Im not really expecting anything until next week. It would be a bonus to get it this week but I have a feeling it will be next week.

Yes I'm expecting it next week too... :D

Day 41 for us, and nothing (no email, and still can't login).

Reminder for all August applicants, please add your dates to the 2015 spreadsheet, will help all of us to track the timelines! (Just add your info to the bottom with all dates, and the admins will add you to the main chart)

I believe that is all SA is for.. Although I've been waiting 70 days now without SA, and my stuff should be easy to check.. I have a good job, no criminal history and had my forms checked by a office for completion before sending.... SO frustrating.

Got our AOR this morning, total wait of 42 days. Hope not long now for Stage 1 (and then the real wait begins).
