Same day as mine :)

Hopefully the wait isn't too long for everyone!

Judging from the 2015 outland spreadsheet we should be in the next batch of AORs ... fingers crossed!!!!

I was thinking the same thing :)

Lately AOR is taking about 30 days so we hopefully will hear something early next week!

Crossing fingers for you guys in the next batch :)

I just noticed that on the processing times website the first stage crept up to 61 days from 57.. I know its only a few days, but still.. Lets hope for the best!

Thanks :)

I've been watching it too, seems to switch between 57 and 60 every week haha as long as it stays around there and doesn't go up to 80 or something!

I've been waiting 11 days, and going a little insane. Don't want to know how I'll feel after 8 months of waiting and wondering, hahah.

Haha i just want to be able to access the online file - even to login obsessively without any additional info..

Counting down to September 18 for AOR :D

We just received our AOR today (on the Saturday of a long weekend ...)! It took almost exactly a month as our application arrived in Mississauga on August 6.

Cool that's awesome.congrats your one step closer. That means they are moving fast.. On their says they are working on Apps received on July 3. And yours was received on Ausgust 6. I guess they didn't had much for july. This is awesome.. Ours was received on Ausgust 26, so I guess in the next 2 weeks or so we will have our AOR

Hi I am getting ready to submit ours..I have checked countless times ensuring everything is completed. Now I am organzing and I confused. what should go in my application as sponsor. aside from the required documents on check list...

the proof of relationship should that go in his package. advise how to organize??? please

like does Miss. even look at the relationship or just on the eligbility of sponsor

The first stage is only about the sponsor, if elegible or not (98% rate of approval).
The second stage, at VO abroad, is about the genuiness of the relationship.
Good luck.

Here's a tip that helped me. Don't check ecas obsessively, just forget about it for a while and live your life. It's out of your hands now for at least a few months. You'll get emails with the first two stages anyways.

Hi Mrs. Campbell, you should include every form on both checklists (both sponsor and applicant), along with all of your evidence, when you send your application to Mississauga. Although they won't look into your relationship proof there, the Mississauga office will forward your application to Kingston once you're approved as a sponsor.

We organized our application in five sections and included a master index:
- sponsor forms
- applicant forms
- proof of common-law relationship (shared bills, lease, joint bank statements, etc.)
- proof of genuineness of relationship (statutory letters from friends and family, cards, passport pages, etc.)
- photographs

That being said ... we haven't received my SA yet so who knows how "right" our method was. Good luck!!

From what I understand the AOR just means that they've "officially" received our package, but they haven't actually started working on it yet. Judging from the 2015 spreadsheet I would guess that it'll take another month for them to actually open my application :\ I hope you get your AOR soon!

Ha ha ha...been there done that....at first I said, after AOR1 I will let up...then it was DM.....we never did receive AOR2 but ECAS (Applicant) changed to In Process (which now apparently means they've received the application and will get around to it at some point). Easier said than done...that's for sure.....and when you are looking at a processing time of 2+ years....I have to admit, I've pretty much weaned myself off of ECAS..I'm just worried now that during this 2 year wait they are going to send a request for info and we'll miss it....but can't do too much...
