Thank you! I am already going insane with the wait. Haha. My husband and I are in the on a 3 month visit with his family currently, figured we would get the application sent while we were here, and hope for a SA before we head back home!

Hope processing is speedy for everyone. :)

Hi all! We sent our application to Mississauga on August 4, received by them on August 6 and signed for by the mysterious R. Mahmood as well. We'll be processed by the Paris VO. No AOR yet. It's great to have some company for the long wait ahead :)

Same day as mine :)

Hopefully the wait isn't too long for everyone!

Been following this forum for a few months, but this is the first time I have something worth posting!

Sent our app in by FedEx on Aug. 18, and it arrived bright and early on Aug. 19. Signed for by Shannon.

My wife is from the US, so it'll likely be going to Ottawa.

Yay - the same day as me, so at least for the first stage we might be on the same timeline. Mine was signed by "S S" so I am guessing it could be the same Shannon?

btw, for anyone new, you can include your details in the 2015 spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FAYZyQgud1lzp7fM28i2O8ZrfbMAxdTc_t7_fiwI6ak/edit#gid=658388151

Hello Guys!, I am peruvian living in my country and my husband in Canada, my question is about my husband´sponsor application (First Step), do you know if sometimes take more than 57 days as it said at the Web Page? in our status says that our documents were received on June 25 and starting to processing on July 28. I gues we should hear news this week.

There are some people on this forum that have taken longer than the 57 days to process SA, one of them could probably answer your question better. We here in this thread have only just submitted our applications.

In my opinion your best option is to get your husband in Canada to call the CIC call centre.

My husband is Peruvian also! Would be curious how fast they process your application - it says Lima is at 7 months (though this may not mean much..). Definitely get your husband to call CIC. They specifically say that if you're waiting longer than the posted timelines the agents can look into your file. Also for timelines it would probably be best to join the June thread.. we are just starting our apps :)
