How did they get your name wrong? Where did you see it?

You should check your forms (if you scanned what you sent so you have a record) to see if you made a mistake on any of the forms. Yes or no, it's a good idea to highlight this using case-specific-inquiry system. You don't want to get your visa or COPR with this mispelling. Correct it after you get it would mean more delays.

I have no idea how they got it wrong cause my forms and all the letters they sent me has my name correct also what I sent them.. I saw this on Ecas when they updated it to decision made... no I don't want that.. I will send them an email and let them know.. I'm hoping it's just Ecas with that issue and now my visa or COPR. .I also did some reading and lots of applicants said minor stuff like that they fix when the applicant lands.. so if they already sent it before the read my email I would just modify it when I land..

Hello all ,

Required your advice , my passport is expiring in next 5 month and i have to travel abroad . im going to renew my passport . do i have to tell visa office about my new passport ? or do i have to wait until they request for passport .

I have not ordered notes. I looked to order some but it takes a long time to get them, unless someone else knows of a place that sends out notes faster than a month+.

I just now sent the member of parliament an email requesting help. Let's see if this does anything.


February 15, 2016 - Fingerprints for background check within Canada requested by Ottawa.

February 18, 2016 - Fingerprints were completed in city of ________ electronically and sent to the Ottawa office.

Feruary 23, 2016 - Email has been sent to the Ottawa immigration office to confirm they have received fingerprint/background check for Canada.

March 8, 2016 - Another email has been sent to the Ottawa immigration office to confirm they have received fingerprint/background check for Canada.

April 18, 2016 - Still not a word from Ottawa.

April 18, 2016 - Sent email to our MP and Ottawa Immigration Office.

I received my notes in 10 days , although the 1st time I ordered them it took 31 days to receive .

Hmmm...well the MP office contacted me. She didn't seem to happy to be talking with me about he issue, seemed unpleasant of a phone call. Though I hope I didn't stir up a can of worms. She questioned my reasoning for applying OUTLAND when I am IN CANADA.

MP's are like the saying " donkey's front feet , can't scratch nor kick " they are lame ducks who can't do a thing .
