Yeah we sent all that in too with the right size photos at the time (the new size is huge!). Who knows why they request it from some and not others haha I'm just glad its almost done

Seems like a lot of progress was made with august apps this week, hope the DMs keep rolling in!!

We got a new photo request Jan 20th too. Didn't notice the new size, so we sent the old size, realized it same day and went and paid another 45$ to overnight the right size, with a note explaining why they got two packages to Ottawa. Hahaha. This process is making us a little insane I think. ;D

Oh no! I do agree the process can make you feel a little crazy haha but it will be worth it in the end Did you get the COPR yet? We were trying to figure out a timeline to plan a trip!

I think a photo request is as good as a DM honestly. They wouldn't be asking for it if you were rejected! I think you'll get your papers very soon.

Hello August Members!

I received a message this morning saying we needed to pay the Right of Residency Fee. Mind you we already paid and sent our receipt for this.
Can someone confirm what the total amount to apply and this fee would have been. We submitted a receipt for $1040. I am sponsoring my american husband. No kids. Im pretty sure this is just the CIC checking again even though we submitted it already.

Since we haven't received a 'DM" yet. Im not sure what being asked to pay the fee would mean in our scenario.
I would assume its good however since the process is not very clear Ive been trying to look and see.

If anyone else is in the same boat, let me know.

Here is our timeline in case anyone is interested.

-We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on August 20, 2015.
-We started processing XXXXs application on November 2, 2015.
-Medical results have been received.
