hello guys, can anybody help me here? i am a little bit confused coz i keep checking our eCAS (i am an eCASholic) and it says both InProcess (applicant and sponsor), but our application is forwarded to VO Manila and they start processing our application on October 27, 2015 and we got letter from CEM that they received our application for PR on November 4,2015... and here is my question:
1. Does that mean my husband is approved?
2. if he is approved why on the eCAS under his name still InProcess?
3. Is the letter from VO Manila called AOR 2?

I really appreciated your answer here. Thank you!
Always hope and pray for the quick process of our application.

Hi Charlem,

I'm an ECASoholic too!
1. No, it just means that the application has been given to the Manilla VO for processing
2. If under his name it shows "In Process", it means that the application actually arrived at the Manilla VO (so now the longer wait beings until they are actually processing it)
3. Yes, the letter from the Manilla VO is called the AOR2

Hope this helps, hang in there :)

What is AOR2 that ev1 keeps talking about?

Here is my timeline so i'm not sure what to expect anymore. I think my brain is numb from stress! lol

App Sub Aug 27/2015
Rec'd Aug 28/2015
AOR Oct 15/2015
File transferred/rec'd Nov 6/2015
SA Nov 2/2105

I'm not sure what to expect next. FYI Our VO is Ottawa b/c my husband is US Citizen and i have dual Citizenship Canadian/US. We submitted all the fees, medical report, fingerprints and so on up front. Someone please give me a heads up on what to expect next?

Ok Ladyex13. this is what you shoudl expect.

Now the waiting game begins. since your file is newly transferred, Ottawa may send u AOR2 or they may not but as per the file, it will b in queue until an officer picks it up for review. According to Ottawa thread, approx 4 to 5 months- it should b reviewed, but until then , there maybe no communication except if any doc is needed or missing.

If all docs submitted and all fees paid upfront, then by or before Sept. or Oct 2016, your husband should have landed.

Hope that helps

4.We sent you correspondence on December 23, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Fourth line has been updated. Were going to finish this tomorrow and send it. Were getting close to the end.

Hi All,

After 130 days i have finally received the SA today. I have question, under PR it shows that medical results have been received.

Does this mean that the VO office has started processing the application?

Wishing everyone very happy new year !

Grats for the DM! Still in process here. No changes and a lot of waiting. The wait is taking its toll though as my girlfriends parents revealed to us that I am dead weight and not providing for the family and they have lost all respect for me as a person. Great things to hear after Christmas. Unless I am working and making money I am nothing to them. Didn't go well with my girlfriend, she broke down.

Sorry to hear that.... I have to think you are close to the end of the process. Ottawa seems to be 6-7 months so I would expect you'd get DM by February latest. I'm about two weeks behind you so I'm feeling the anxiety also. Hang in there.
