Thanks everyone!! I am going to try and stay positive through to PR as I know that's a crap shoot on how long it can take, I was frustrated as when I applied SA approval showed under 60 days by day 70 I was sure my app was lost!

Got our SA Approval email last week. .Files transferred to overseas office.

Now "In Process" showing on both side of the Ecas. After SA Approval, the SA side should be updated to DM, right? how come it's still in process?

Also when I click in to PR side, there are only two lines. One is Application received, the other one is Medical results received.

Anyone has the same thing?

Also one more question, For AOR2, do they send the AOR2 to the sponsor or the principal applicant?

ECAS still has both as "in process" for us too, we have had SA since Oct 5th. The PR side will only have two lines until the VO receives your application and starts processing it.

AOR2 will go to the principle applicant but not all VO's send it out. Whats your VO?

Just checked with my husband if he got an email from the Visa office and he said yes haha even though I was the one obsessively checking my inbox. The good thing is that we have AOR2 as of October 20, yay!

Exactly, though in ECAS on the applicant side they show "started processing Oct 14" almost a week before we got the email confirmation. May depend on the Visa office, I think Lima doesnt have as many applications so it may move faster.

Ok sweet thought so..Oh ok thats good.. That would be perfect for your app.. I hope you guys get processed fast. We will be processed by Mexico VO but they process alot of other countries but we are still positve about having a speedy process..

Actually my husband just got an email from Lima Office requesting his passport and 2 photos!! We are so unbelievably excited and honestly quite nervous as he is currently in Canada and we don't know how to get his passport to the VAC office that will forward to the embassy.

I'm reading that DHL will take passports, but then some threads say it's illegal to mail in, so right now don't know if he'll have to go there for a month! Started a new thread to get other opinions, but will update you guys on how it goes!

I had to renew my Aussie passport while in Canada and the Australian High Commission sent it with express post. So if you can't find a courier Canada Post will take it.
