Took a while, but all good.

The border security guys started out all business, but they were smiling by the time we left.

Oh ok... Hope we'll have good experience as well.

Congratulations ...

My PCC reached on 4th June, still IP only. What is your application received date?

Best feeling in the world.

I logged onto eCas last night, and it says 'Completed'

When you click the link, it says 'You landed as a permanent resident at Coutts on 12 July 2015.'

I might print that and frame it!

Good luck to everyone still waiting. It'll come. As we say in South Africa, 'byt vas!'

My employer has two hotels.I was on post grad work permit and apply for ainp from one hotel, but my work permit was about to expire so my employer gave me lmia from the other hotel.Luckily i got ainp and i apply for the lmia exempt work permit from the same hotel i was working. and i got refusal.I applied to the federal for permanent resident with the other work permit based on lmia because my ainp was about to expire and also i reapply for work permit that is lmia exempt. my question is do i need to extend my ainp nomination. or the cic will give me file number based on my work permit from other hotel ? Please help me asap. Thank you.

I landed at the North Portal Border crossing yesterday. It was super fast and easy.I was only asked for my passport and my COPR,that's it.The guys that work there are very polite and quick with their work.It was the forth time I went to change permits at that border and it was always the same polite and busy way that they go about their business.. The whole process took 10 minutes and I became a landed immigrant.Good luck to everyone on the forum, and have faith in God... ;)

Folks, I need your help today.

I just received CoPR with other documents. It has an instruction letter and it says PR Visa(CoPR) is only valid if all family members are declared. My CoPR shows my wife only under dependant information, although I have a 18 months old daughter. I assume it is because my daughter is a Canadian citizen and she does not need a visa to enter the country. But I am still concerned it is ok with the CoPR.

Second question is, I got Medical Surveilance sheet as well. Is there anything I need to do with it? or just bring it in to the immigration office?

Your advice will be most appreciated.

Can anyone tell me the number of CIC that I can reach to a real person?

I can answer your first question. We just landed last week and my son is Canadian citizen as well, he is 4 months old. He is not mentioned under dependent. It is ok because he is Canadian citizen and he does not need to be process.

I don't know about your second question sorry.
