once u send them ur pp, it usually takes 5-7 days to reach there, after that they will send u ur ppr with copr almost right away and it takes 3-5days in general.

cic recieved on june 5th 2014- 1st

cic recieved on august 8th 2014- 2nd

AOR on october 8th 2014

MR on october 22nd 2014

medical done and sent on november 18th 2014

IP recieved on may 12th 2015

DM recieved on may 20th 2015

still haven't got a PPR (I'm from visa-free country, so they often haven't sent us a ppr)

it's been so long and would be better to get a ppr.

something happens would make me feel better than nothing.

depends on the ppl's timeline, i expect that i might get a copr without ppr.

You assume I just mailed the passport?

After waiting 9 months I wasn't gonna wait another week. I sent it in an overnight delivery envelope with an enclosed overnight delivery envelope 8)

hi friend last night i applied ATIP online

but the end says submit but didn't ask any payment

have I applied correctly


and i received the below email:

You have successfully submitted your request under the Privacy Act to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
The information and documents that you provided will be reviewed and processing will begin shortly.
Please note that if you have submitted your request outside of regular business hours, the processing of your request will begin the following business day.
If your request is complete, it will be processed within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, unless an extension is required. Extensions may be taken for limited and specific reasons, which are listed in the following sections of the Acts:
Section 9 of the Access to Information Act
Section 15 of the Privacy Act
Your temporary request tracking number is XXXXXXX. After your request has been registered, a new number will be assigned to your request.
Should additional information or documents be required, you will be notified by the Access to Information and Privacy Division at Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

there is no fees when you apply under Privacy Act. Your request went through. If they require fees they will ask you.

What is this overnight delivery envelope??...what postal service did you use?

Canada Xpress post. You just have to ask the person at the desk of any Canada post office. Cost me under $40 in total.

hey, i got paid rprf 2weeks ago before IP comes up
ppr is passport request
copr is confirmation of permanent resident

ppl who r from visa-free country sometimes havent been requested ppr.
