I have seen one weird case happened to one of friend,

He got the PPR in spam and he didn't check it for 3 weeks and suddenly he see that..

So please, guys who are waiting for PPR, please keep checking spam regularly...

Hello, I saw someone who submitted Sep has already got RPRF. My application reached CIO on August 29 2014 and I got my FN on Nov 5 2014, however, did not hear any news for my application. Is this normal? Thanks.

Completely normal. I've read these forums for a long time (lurked for years before even posting the first time) and it seems CIC doesn't proceed in an orderly pattern with regards to dates applied. It follows trends, but you can find someone months after you get processed first. It can be frustrating, but it is what it is. Hang in there.

Do you guys have any emails from CIC saying you need RCMP finger prints requests? I am a Oct applicant and I only submitted the police report from Regina Police station, instead of RCMP finger prints.

Only people from SOME countries need needs finger prints. SOME dont. its on the CIC website.
