Hello
mine turned ip today
file received 18 august

my ecas updated to IP today ,yeah....

After what status turns to IP .

Hi all,

Ten months into the application, and I've managed to tough it out... but it's got too much now!

Here's our info:

Been in Canada since June 21 2012 on TWP (NOC B for me, open work permit for hubby)

Applied 25 August 2014, and received 28 August 2014, AINP Employer driven.

Meds request and AOR happened right on schedule, a couple of months after application.

Meds done 29 October 2014.

Meds received early Feb (according to ECAS) Don't know exact date because I didn't check every day.

Then...

NOTHING.

I've ordered several sets of GCMS notes, and CSIS info. Latest GCMS notes say paper file is with Prov Eval, Meds passed, criminality and security not started (none of us have records or any military history, and we never lived in another country aside from home and here.) My six year old daughter is also in Canada, and also on our application.

I know these things are random, but does anyone have any idea how much longer we have to wait? It's getting to be torture now, and we've been waiting about ten months already.

Is it a good sign that we haven't heard anything yet? I would assume that they would have sent everything back to us / rejected us by now if we were not eligible?

Help! Losing it here!

Hi, As I Believe, you should not be worried becuase my case is similiar as you.

File received to cic on august 20 and medical done november 10, but ECAS still doesn't show Medical Received.

I called Cic and they confirm that my medical is with them and everything is okay And your application is in process now.

So be Relax guys, everything will be fine

First questions - What are / were your expectations (from a timeline stand point) at the start of the process. How long did you think it'll take.

Secondly - EVERYONE else with app received prior to August 22nd have the same progress as you. Nothing amiss with the general timeline (compared to others). On a positive note, folks that applied (app received) around august 22nd are now getting contacted for RPRF or follow up correspondence. It is very likely that next week, you'll hear something that signal progress. You could be done with the process by July if your application is straightfwd (as it appears)
