August 2014 PNP applicants that have submitted their applications for PR

I applied August 11th - MPNP applicant. I received RPRF request yesterday, as well as request for updated travel history and background declaration.

I have the option to fax it, send it to a P.O. address or courier. Anyone knows which is the best option? Like faxing is fast I know but I don't want to risk my forms getting separated and lost.

Any advise?

no, my online status is still medical received so far, no update yet.... but CIC agent said mine is in process in ottawa right now...

DID you get RPRF request? if yes, from which office ( Sydney or Ottawa) and when?

My lawyer haven't told me anything, and ecas is still medical received so far, although the cic agent said my application is IN PROCESS in ottawa.

They gave ur generic reply for 17 months processing don't worry u will hear something soon...

I just call cic the the guy picked up phone he is very nice and helpful
I asked can I know my application status
He reply yes tell me your UCI no

Then he confirm me all my personal details including email and phone no

He said we received your application Sep
We received your medical March
We received your RPRF ( I paid upfront )
He said no additional documents requested

yes, i just checked the timeline, only shows ottawa visa office which is 17 months. but i was told mine is in process now in ottawa. still nothing change on ecas !

I asked how long more could take he said in website says 17 months
he didn't tell me where is my application In NS or Ottwa or is it in IP

Could you please share what exactly they additionally requested?
Did they ask you to submit whole Schedule A and Supplementary information-Travel from the scratch? or just the part you made changes?

I'd like to know and be prepared before I get requested, so I can make this shorter.

Your advice will be appreciated.

My application is received to cic on August 20, 2014, and done medical on November 10, eventhough EcAS does not show anyting about medical received.

Already talk to doctor and he confirmed that he sent the reports on time.

Is it normal that Cic does not update about medical received sometimes?

Please, Guide me.


One of my friend applied on July 20th, he got Inprocess just 1 week ago.

Should I expect Inprocess in next weeks before getting medical received in ECAS.

This may be a case where you have not clicked "application received" highlighted when you log into ecas. When you click that, other updates will unravel. It may just be that
