Hey guys,

I've been following this forum for a few months and finally decided to contribute. I don't know how to update my timeline but here are the facts

  • Nomination: 10 June 2014
  • Application: 19 August 2014
  • Medical Requested: 2 October 2014
  • Medical Received: 9 October 2014

Still waiting for further contact.

I personally know a friend who applied in February 2014 and just got her Approval first week of February 2015

Hi Joyous,

I don't exactly how long after was it updated (I'm guessing within two weeks of medical), but yes ECAS says medical received, doesn't say any date there. There haven't been any updates thereafter. I have been encouraging my fiance though to pay the RPRF even they haven't asked for it yet since it's actually his application I'm posting about).Don't know how if that's actually a good idea. Also, he hadn't sent his PPC (police clearance) along with the application and even though he has it ready now he still hasn't been asked for it. It's a long and tasking wait since our wedding date depends entirely on his PR now!

Would you please advise on this:

I got my PhD from UBC on Jan 2014, then PNP acceptance letter on July 2014 and then sent my documents to CIC on September 2014. I am still waiting for the file number and etc. After my PhD and about 8 month working as a postdoc I got a job in Ontario and I moved on October 2014. I have applied for many jobs in BC and had couple of interviews but not succeed going back to BC yet. Here are my questions:

1- What steps should I take to be safe?
2- Can I apply for Express PNP?
3- have you ever seen such situation and what will be the outcome?

At least you are in better position than Ontario PNPs. I am early August inland applicant with Ontario PNP. I have not received my AOR yet. I dont know what to say...its been almost 7 months :(

Even i have applied in Aug 2014 through ON-PNP and since then waiting for the AOR. I heard ON is little back than other provinces in terms of PNP applications. Is this something you guys have noticed too?

Yes -Ontario is backlogged (more than other provinces)

Have you guys decided to pay the RPRF and send the PCC without request from CIC? I too have to pay the fees and submit my PCC. Waiting to hear from the CIC.
 
i submitted my PCC along with my CIC application and i got landing fee request along with my AOR / UCI no. and i paid my fee via online.
