August 2014 PNP applicants that have submitted their applications for PR

I was waiting for CIC to make a landing appointment for me and had kept waiting for 2 weeks but nothing from them. Eventually, I took 5 hours to drive down to North Portal to land. I could't wait till my work permit expired.....i landed on July 19th....
 
Finally, my ECAS status changed to IP on 27 July!!! How long does it take, in average, from here to PPR?

Don't expect miracles. I have IP from 25th May and waiting for DM/PPR. There is no average, some applicants get it sooner - in 2 weeks IP+DM and PPR but some are waiting. Still not known what is the cause. Good luck.

Did CIC ask you for additional documents before IP?

yes, cic did asked me to submit additional docs in Feb this year.

CIC asked to submit PCCs, proof of fund, etc.
 
Called CIC today...no luck with the status...they keep harping about the same 16month thing...blah..blah
 
Ok, so my ecas now has 5 lines! Last lines are about add doc request, saying that they sent request on dates in may and another in august and also do notvsend anything until i receive email request! Never seen anyone with same case before and ecas getting updated like this!??! Any clue anyone??

it just says we send you additional doc request on May and 5th line says in august. This is so weird! I did sent first doc but still haven't received second request for new doc. Does anyone know why they updated ecas on this???

I wish I was that lucky to get this kind of privileged treatment but I am not as CNCA got DM 3 days later. Anyway jokes apart, sorry guys I was back in England for some time and time difference was making a little difficult for me to update tracker and reply to you guys.

Congrats guys for landing and getting updates. I also got PPR on 5 Aug and docs have been sent today. Tracker has been updated.

Are you the only one who received dm in July? I was looking at the tracker and it seems like lots of ppl got dm in June and May but no one in July, except you. If this is the case then we can say that something started to work again and we can hope for ending this nightmare.
