Well, We got "Decision Made" update on ECAS. But still have not heard from them. If we have been corresponding by email, will they email us regarding the decision, or should we expect a mailed notice? We had contemplated calling and asking about a refund this week, so this is great news!! Hopefully everyone else in Ottawa CPC will start hearing the same soon.

I am not familiar with your case but why would you ask about a refund? Did they muck up your file or something?

onemoretime: the cricket sound might be heard for a very long time as it seems the Canadian embassy in manila has been on lunch break for a few months with not much work being done, and they seem to be slow at the best of times

Received an email from Ottawa today! They are requesting additional documents, our marriage cert which I've already sent in? They also want proof that my husband will be residing in Canada. Which he does and has, is this hopefully the next step to being one step closer to the end???

That is really good news IMHO!
At least the file is being tended to and not in some queue somewhere.

my husband sent the application on 11-06-14 we recive the answer on 07-08-14 from CIC,from that time until now the applicatin is in Austria and we dont have any answer,can somebody tell my how much time we have to wait for answer,i am from kosovo,thanks

Received an email from Ottawa today! They are requesting additional documents, our marriage cert which I've already sent in?

I am going to take an educated guess and say that Mississauga kept it and did not foreward the cert to Ottawa and Ottawa would now like it.

We had the same thing happen with Manila they requested a few documents that were included with the full application already.
