Is there anyone who applied in the first 2 weeks of August and hasn't received anything yet?

My application was received August 5 by an initial D S whoever that is and have not heard from CIC.

I have not received anything yet! My application was received by Miller on August 13, 2014 at their ship dock for citizenship (sent it thru Purolator)

I sent them an case specific enquiry last night. Hopefully, they will reply.

Hey parientdog - fyi, the telephone says the applications before 25 of July are opened. So, it's still normal. The fact that they haven't returned your app so far is an indication that nothing crucial is missing from your app, which is great!

Just keeping my finger crossed. It seems they are working from the tail to the head for Augustians or they can't sort application properly.

I am in the same boat. My application was received on August 14 but no news at all.

They recieved my application on August 1st. No news so far.

I called them today and luckily I could speak to an agent.

She told me wait another two weeks then call us again if you do not recieve anything.

Application received at CIC on 5th August. Haven't heard back anything yet. No email, No update on ECAS, No postal mail.

I had sent in a request for ATIP request for my app. Got an email back which is dated Oct 28, 2014 and it says "There is no record of your application available at this time", along with some longer other info etc.

Will give it until mid-Nov now I guess, to see what happens.

When did you make a ATIP request? I really wonder how long I should wait for AOR..

I made ATIP request on Oct 15. At first when I saw email from CIC, I was really excited. That grew to disappointment when I opened the email lol.

One more..unfortunate Aug 11er here...

Find some relief on the fact that our applications are not returned so far. And my belief is that our(August) applications got through that first barrier successfully, so it must be sitting somewhere in the bins waiting for the mercy of an agent. Also I don't see it wise sending another application in hurry as there are no confirmed reports of lost applications anywhere, once entered CPC Sydney.
