Oops...I got confused reading more and more.., mixed it up reading adrift to CEC I think... I am sorry...Tayara said:You are referring to the language requirement for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) not the one for the Canadian Citizenship
So it might be a human error! a bit relaxed if so...coco4 said:Hello All,
just a FYI.. i called up CIC again.. CELPIP G LS is very much accepted. infact they could not figure out why it was returned. and have asked me to send the docs again with cover letter asking them to call me with the valid reason. so sending my file again.
thanks. ;D
I am in the same boat. I am really hoping that they don't open the applications in strict order. I think I remember noticing the same thing in previous posts. I'm trying to think of no news as good news. Let's just stay positive. The applications have only just started to be opened so let's hope and pray for the best.ottawaResident said:Well, looks like people from August 20 are getting notices, but me from August 8 or 11 have not received anything yet.
Called up CIC and they said that they're opening applications from July 22 so far.
Not all..just a few of them. I don't think they are processing in order. What I can see good is at least they reach the top of the pile up now.ottawaResident said:Well, looks like people from August 20 are getting notices, but me from August 8 or 11 have not received anything yet.

Well in my case, (I don't know if it was a factor or not. It's just a guess) I thought that since a lot of people will be sending through Courier, it will be best to send through regular mail (PO Box) because there will be less applications at this address. Again, I don't know if this played a role. But, what I'll say is that I was lucky.ottawaResident said:Well, looks like people from August 20 are getting notices, but me from August 8 or 11 have not received anything yet.

Well, I did same guess and send it on regular mail as always to P.O. Box too, but nothing so far. However mine is not single, three member family application.dav3000 said:Well in my case, (I don't know if it was a factor or not. No reason to fret. If you haven't received a returned application by now, chances are that you will receive confirmation either this week or next week. It may already be in a queue to be viewed by an officer for processing.grepis said:CanadaPost with tracking, single application. August 6 received, no news
Well that may or may not be a factor (Mine was a single application. I just finished my undergrad in April, so I did not really have many documents (i.e those related to work and so on). I believe if you sent it early to mid August, and haven't received a returned application, chances are that you'll get a confirmation this week or next. It's only a guess though. And hey Cheer up, we are applying after the passed bill so our processing time will be much faster.Donvalley said:Well, I did same guess and send it on regular mail as always to P.O.
