August 2013 Citizenship Applications - Start to Finish

It's Victoria Day today and just checked our online status in cic.gc.ca and came to know that our test date is on 3rd June at 8:30AM in the morning. The status says they mailed the letter on 15th May.

i just got a msg from my home up near cornwall ontario while travelling 800 km away down south in sarnia ontario ...i have officially received an OATH LETTER Grin

THEY ASKED ME TO COME TO FOR OATH ON 10TH JUNE IN OTTAWA ...9.00 AM Tongue

i mean i have to cut my work training and trip short for it .. YOU BETCHA --I AM COMING OTTAWA Smiley

THATS ENDS 9 MONTH OF WAIT ...E-CAS HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED YET ..BUT I COULD CARE LESS NOW ..

Good day all the members of this forum.

This thread is intended to track and discuss the citizenship applications and the progress of their processing who applied in the month of August 2013.

Here's my timeline:

Application: Single, Unmarried.
Application Received at CIC: Aug 16, 2013
Province: Ontario
Applied with: over 1200 days of physical presence.

Finally good news from cic , I received today invitation to write the citizenship test on June 16 ,2014

Done with our tests today. Test followed by the interview, whole process took some 27 minutes. Questions were VERY easy. Now the wait starts for the oath date.

I received a letter today from St. Clair (ON) office with a fingerprint request, dated June 6, 2014.

Timeline:

Application received by CIC: August 28, 2013
Letter of Acknowledgement/In Process: October 30, 2013
Fingerprint Request: June 6, 2014

Local Office: Mississauga, ON
