August 2013 Citizenship Applications - Start to Finish

Friends...look at the July applicant tracker. Quite a few of them already took their tests and few had their oaths too. Interestingly, few of them had their processing started after mine. Mine started on 22nd Oct (as per my online status).

Right on...Exactly thats my point as well.....No matter when anyones application is received, the clock starts from the time it went into processing....
So how come other who went into processing later than me and you, already finished their oath no mention attending the test....
Its sounds so surreal.....
Not like you and I are sitting with RQs or other doc requests and not that I am from other remote areas where slow processing might be understandable...I am right here in the heart of GTA......

It would help a lot of people get ready in case this happens to them.You said that you have been out of the country on many occasions since 2007, does this mean that you lived out of Canada or just random travel ? Also, are you a consultant ? where you unemployed when you travelled ?
FYI - I contacted CIC today by phone to inquire about the status of my application. I was told it was still in Sydney for processing, and that they are still conducting background checks. I was told that my file will be eventually transfered to the Mississauga, ON office (when I called three weeks ago, they told me it would be transferred to Scarborough, ON).
Typical of CIC, they wouldn't tell me when to expect the test and stated that I could get notified of a test date anytime within the standard 24 month processing timeframe.

LOA and In-Process: October 30, 2013
