Are you from Edmonton or Ontario? Your posts say Edmonton but the table says Ontario??
Also you went into process on Oct 21, 2013 right. So till recently you were still seeing the "Received" line along with the "In process" line??
Mine disappeared long time ago, so i wonder if the disappearing = checks done or checks initiated??

I always had the received line with the in process line on my CIC status.
However, this morning I haven't been able to check my status...it says no file found/not able to identify !
I am worried now...I have been able to check it until now with the same information....
On a hopeful note, could they be updating my online status maybe....?? so my page is inaccessible !

Oh no...never mind. I just typed in my previous last name, the last name with which I entered Canada and have my PR. My citizenship and my PR Renewal status is showing under that name !
Strange...my citizenship status used to come up with the new last name....but now maybe because I have sent my PR Renewal file, both are coming under the old one...
Could this have slowed down my citizenship process
?

Its the Aug 2013 applicants that seem slow.....Others from Sep and Oct 2013 have claimed that they have received test dates.....How so? No one knows.....
I just called CIC today to ask why my status wasn't showing and they said that my file was being transfered to my local office (windsor) and thats why. It was transfered Feb 18 and now they will call me for exam which can be anythin within the next 9 months !

Well, not really the wrong last name. I got married since my PR, so I had requested a change of last name (M**). Initially I was using my original last name (A**) to check my status. Then it later changed to the new one (M**). I could always check the status witht he new one. Just today it has gone back to my original name (A**) maybe because I applied for a PR Card renewal as well. My PR Card has my old last name.
Confusing it is! I wish that doesn't slow my process
