Hi everyone,

I live in St. John's NL, can someone please help find the cheapest wayout to do the landing?

Not sure, but you should look into St Pierre and Miquelon - it technically belongs to the French, but I'm not sure if travelling there and returning is considered for landing?

You also have the option to book a landing appointment at the St. John's CIC office, free of charge. Call the call centre to arrange an appointment - there may be a wait of a few weeks.

Got my passport back with the immigrant visa and COPR yesterday! Thank you everyone for all the support and guidance :)

Got my passport and COPR today. :D

In how many days does the CoRP and/or first PR visa expires? I have to book an appointment with CIC for landing, which seems to take a lot of time.

You won't be able to book the landing appointment until you have the CoPR in hand.

My local office (Kitchener) was a 3-4 week wait time for appointments, but I imagine waits are different across the country.

need help! got email asking for Consent to Information Disclosure for you NZ police check. its easy enough fill in a form so they can get criminal history from NZ but I need to know is what category experience class falls under

A)skilled worker
B) family class
c)other

? also does anyone have an idea of how much this could slow up my process?

I did upfront medicals and had to choose "Worker" for the medicals. Guess you could always choose "Other" and maybe put
CEC or ECONOMIC CLASS in a comment field?

I had a question regarding the PR Card process.
Do they automatically apply for the PR card when you land, or do you have to submit a separate application for this?

Also, how long does it usually take to receive it?
I know it says around 68 days at the current time but would like to hear from others that have gone through the process if this is a good indication or if I could expect it earlier.

Thanks!

You don't have to apply for your first PR card. The process will be initiated by the officer when you complete the landing.
