No you don't need to respond if there is no changes, also PPR ask you to inform if there is any changes againcapn b said:I have a question for people who have got ppr and people who are waiting still.
did you respond to rprf email with an mail that said there has been no change in status?
I did not email them anything like that and am still waiting
Hi Boateng,boateng said:Hi Sheena
Thanks
Yes I went to rainbow bridge and told them that I just need to make a U turn for landing, even though I have a US visa and a valid i-94 they just give out the standard Admin refusal letter for entry into states which states that you are not being allowed to enter only because you need to renter canada for immigration requirements and let me take a U turn by opening a gate, all this happened in like 10 mins as I went around 10 last nite. I do not think so this affects any thing for the future as this is a standard procedure and the US border officers are well aware of it. Even when asked in the future this is a very valid reason and there are no harms with it
If you have a US visa though you can just go across stay there for a couple of hours and then re enter, if not above is a valid option too. I could have easily gone across and come back later but I just wanted to get it done with asap.)))
Just don't worry and get it done)
All the best.
Hi pavaneee, pavaneee said:Hi all....is anybody there with my similar timeline....medicals done on 27th march...no ECAS update as medicals received and no PPR request...
I did respond to confirm that there were no changes to my family composition. We don't know whether this makes any difference to the processing time. You are certainly not required to give any update unless there is a change.capn b said:I have a question for people who have got ppr and people who are waiting still.

I am not aware of anything else apart from GCMS notes where you can find out about the status, but it takes about a month to get the notes.pavaneee said:Hi Readhp,
yeah that making me worried.......apart from GCMS notes...is there any other way to find the status...because I had received my medicals on 20th March(its more than a month now) and RPRF on 31st march(going to complete a month)....and no change in my status
