I just checked my ECAS, it is changed to "In Process", but I have not received MR yet What does this mean ? I am worried now


1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 23, 2013.

That's a good news! You will receive MR soon now may be today, tomorrow . .

Firstly a good start for the week, the pending files are moving. I read in earlier posts, sometimes there would be delay between ECAS status and Recieving MR mail. Hang on... you should be getting it soon.....All the best.... Hopefully I get mine soon.....

Will the copr come in the mail or in an email? I think I am in the same boat as LPS. My ecas says decision made but I haven't received any emails about ppr

Mail, if you're from a visa exempt country, if not you'll get the CoPR with your passport after sending your passport to CIC.

Hi all, I need your suggestion regarding my dilemma..

I received MR on April 5th, 2014 and have 60 days to send medicals. Im going to get married on June 8th, 2014 and now im confused whether to go ahead and finish my medicals or delay the medicals as much as possible and send sometime in late may... In that case will there be any problem in my application approval..Im leaving to India on June 4th for wedding..

1. at what stage of the app plication process is the final chance to add spouse
2. As people know wife sponsorship will take 1 year to be processed, so i think this adding her is the best option, but can i do it as things got closer (I paid my RPRF upfront)
3. When do i have to notify the CIC about my wedding plan?
4. what is the expected delay or timeline after i add her to my case file?

Any suggestions are welcome and people who went through similar circumstances, please give your valuable tips and info.

I'd say you might try to "inform" CIC about upcoming family composition changes, probably with some proof of engagement and ask about documents for your wife. It will definitely slow down your application. Or, you can do your own medicals "silently" and proceed with immigration, but you'll need to handle question about family composition changes in RPRF e-mail. It either may end with PR for you or slowing your case down with processing of your wife. If you'll get PR before marriage, you'll face "sponsorship" which will probably last another year or two.

Not sure when meds were uploaded. About a week ago I think. It was certainly fast enough that I didn't have to call the doctor back.
