Hey guys has anyone got their PR yet? My partner applied in August 2013.After file number he hasn't received any information of what so ever.What is the next step and when he should expect some news?

Cic has started processing MR for august applicants. Hopefully he should receive his MR in next two weeks. All the best.

Hopefully he gets it soon... any chance you know anything about adding wife to the application while is in the process? I am here in Canada and we were thinking to get married and add me to his application.But he is scarred that that would delay his application.Any thoughts on that?

Hi guys, I received medical for both myself and spouse, they also sent another email for pcc for my wife and asked for pcc from both USA and Tanzania. I have the FBI report from USA which I am going to be sending it to them however when she left Tanzania she was under 18 and she hasn't stayed more than 6 months in Tanzania since she left. What should I be doing? Do I write a letter explaining this? I read on the cic website that you do not require a police certificate if you were under 18 when you lived in that country. Am I correct? Please advise.

I am new to this forum, I am just wondering I did a electronic medical examination, and wondering in what ways could I find out if the medical report has been sent or if CIC received it yet? Because it seems like many others sent the medical report but no updates on e-cas?

till date my status on e-cas is still application received and nothing else.

You can call your doctor's office and they will let you know when they had sent it. Your E-Cas will update to "Medical results received", but that takes days (sometimes weeks).

I think once he submits his medicals to CIC, CIC sends an email for asking to update them with any changes made since he filed the application. Thats when he can mention about you. I am not sure if you will be able to submit your application at this time specially when CIC is in process of asking for medical with august application. You may consult alawyer or ask your question in this thread by starting a new topic.

I would just get the pcc, It does say you don't need it if you are under 18 or havent been there for six months but if they ask id just do what they ask...unless she is hiding somthing.

Adding you at this point in process will definitely delay his application. I would suggest getting married after approved then applying for your pr as a spouse

Yah but family class will take years to process, so i suggest adding spouse before PR process is complete
