i hope we all get approval soon. but i am hoping approval by post mail not by email because from my country people who are getting email approval there process is slow but people who got approval by mail there process is bit fast

Hi can someone add me to the spreadsheet please? I'm Canadian and applying PR for my Mexican husband

visa office: mexico city
Aug 17th, 2012: Medical done
Aug 24th, 2012: sent out PR application with canada post express
Aug 27th, 2012: application received by CIC

I'm trying to finish reading all the posts on this thread right now haha, does the CIC email you every time something is updated? Or do they only email you for the AOR and then you will have to check for any other updates?

Guys my wife called the CIC automated number today and after putting in her UCI and other details the response we got was that our apllication was recieved on xx date.. does this mean AOR

I think so! yes!

What is this automated number?? My husband (the applicant) he has a UCI number from a TRV in the past. Can we use this number to check? or is it only the sponsor UCI number? (I- the sponsor- don't have a UCI as I'm Canadian and never applied to sponsor anyone else before...).

well I think you need the sponsor UCI.. but what I suggest you call on this number and go through the options.. may be it helps

Well it wanted to send me through to an agent, so I guess I chose the wrong options! I had to type in the UCI and then I put my husband's year of birth and it said it was going to transfer me, so I don't want to bother them yet since it has only been there a little over a month right now. I'll try again next week.

ok.. its your UCI and then you have to put your DOB
