No you don't need to send any pre paid envolopes, and there are 2 different addrresses, one is for normal post and another for courier:-

Normal post is

it is said that they are ENCOURAGING us to answer the form electronically to generate the 2D barcode,
can we still print/send the form WITHOUT the validation/barcode?

New form for permanent resident applications

As of July 18, 2011, applicants for Permanent Residence are asked to complete the new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008). This new form creates one universal application for all permanent residence categories.

The form features prompts and drop-down lists that will make completing the forms much easier for applicants and will help prevent errors that create unnecessary processing delays. Completing the form electronically and validating the form before printing will generate a unique bar code to allow for the efficient entry of data into CIC’s case management system.

Older versions of the permanent resident application form will still be accepted, but only until March 31, 2012.

Changes to sponsorship applications

Sponsorship application forms that are mainly used in conjunction with family class applications have been redesigned as well. Previously, the sponsorship application form (IMM 1344A) and the sponsorship agreement form (IMM 1344B) were two separate documents. Effective July 18th, 2011, they were combined into one form called Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344).

CIC is strongly encouraging applicants to download and complete the forms online.

In the forms (specifically Schedule A- Background/Declaration) about personal history (Q8) and addresses (Q12), do you have to write in domestic/temporary travel as well?

Cuz I frequently have to travel from Karachi to Islamabad and back for a couple days for work every now and then. Any ideas?

Ryffa_Q, I used the old forms, because my husband had already dated and signed them and there was NO WAY we wanted to further delay the forms by printing out new forms, mailing them to Ecuador and then mailing them back and potentially losing them in the process (he doesn't live near any cities or have computer access). It simply wasn't an option.

Essex, where did you get the second address for courier? I'm glad that I sent by Canada Post, because I didn't even know there was a second address! Phewf!

Syed, I travel a lot domestically for work and I didnt put any of business travel period. For Q8 I simply put in one period for every company I worked with and where I am mainly based. e.g. 01 May 2000 to 01 May 2005 XXX Company, Full Address <Kuala Lumpur>
For Q12, since it asked for every address since 18 years old, I just put in addresses where I have lived for more than 3 months. Which was a handful to remember all the rental houses during college.

I think most importantly there should not be any gap in between the periods.

sixrogue, my apps submission was delayed by 2 weeks because my husband insisted I completed and mailed him the new forms. I think he was buying more time to compile the apps when he was supposedly to have been done with it

I'm ready to pay my fee online, but as I know they are asking to complete the "Payer Information". My question is, I will pay the fee online using my brother's visa from Canada because I dont have the visa card myself. But I'm in China, so would that be matter? and they ask for Payer Information about Payer's name, so should I put my name as sponsor or my common-partner's name as applicant or they mean the payer's name is the name of the card owner??

Just a few questions: would it be ok to staple the paper works, like all the receipts, phone logs, etc together? As it only mention that photos should keep them loose, no albums, no binder, but would it be ok for the other things to stables together?
