Your visa expires 1 year after you did your medical, or when your passport expires, whichever comes first. Your medical was July 22, 2011, so that's why.

Not if you land before your visa expires.

Our VO (Sao Paulo) has the same processing time as yours, so I am hoping and praying that it works as fast as yours.

Just curious, when and how did you get the AOR? My address just showed up on e-cas, and I've read that it could mean the VO already has my package and is maybe even working on it... did you have a similar experience?

I didn't even get AOR! I emailed them like a week ago to ask if theyhad my file because I wanted to give them my new address and they said they didn't even have my file yet. and now I just get the email saying my visa is ready and to send them my passport. Crazy!!!

Pegasus! Congrats! Congrats! Come join me in packing to land now i dont feel so bad about having a shorter visa approval timeline while the rest are still waiting....believe me i know how difficult it is, i havent seen my hubby in 8 months...1st year of marriage was 80% via skype ;D

dont forget to download form B4 and B4a from cbsa website for your accompanying and to follow goods forms,

I received my aor yesterday...a few days AFTER i received my visa so dont worry about it if u dont get it, just believe ecas when they say they have received it

I don't even know what I'm supposed to do/bring to land. I didn't expect to have to deal with this for at least another 8months, so I'm in a daze. I'll look at the landing threads.. I wonder if its ok if I don't have any goods to follow?

If you used Buenos Aires as your VO you should send Argentinian. I believe Spain has their own VO.
