man 5 months has gone by just to get an approval still nothing yet they said dec1 we will give u an answer this is so hard and stressfull.. how much longer before i see my wife.. i think ill end up going back to iraq for a month or 2 if she doesint come soon

They wil send u an AOR letter, but some VO dont bother, same with eCAS, sometimes they update as in process so u know they have received it but some dont bother....

in my Case, they sent a Approved latter to my wife on 27 Oct. and then nothing to me yet..!!!!!!!

That is the sponsor approval letter which goes to sponsor. The AOR usually comes +120 days later from the VO of the principal applicant. Some dont get them at all like essex probably didnt get her AOR but straight to PPR. Cic works in their own mysterious ways.. i dont mind not getting anything but the PPR...

received an email today from my VO saying that interview has been waived and application approved. They need us to pay the remaining fee of 490$ and they need also the CSQ letter of approval.
that sounds good to us

No passport request so far, just that! well at least its something

Yeah our applications were received almost the same time...so waiting for something to hear from my VO now which I believe and hopefully could be during the next month !!

Yes our applications have been submitted almost at the same time, but I'm pretty sure you will hear from them soon just keep up positive energy and thinking!

I have to confess that it's been a while since I last visited the forum,I didn't want to get disappointed on reading approvals of our fellow Augustians while I didn't get any sign of life. But feels good to share our experiences here and timelines.
