Hello All,
I feel it danger for all MI3 applicants. I noticed that LVO is working on early applicants like 2007 applicants. It sounds like we have to wait for 3 years ?????? Ohhhh my God. Is it possible?

Brother..In case of MI 3 applicants one thing is sure that visa office has to answer within a year.

Yes I do really know that how frustrating these days would be but as you know..
There is nothing in our hands and what allah almighty has decided for us would be always good.
I 'll pray for you sure..! Inshallah you may get your MR soon.

Have faith and patience my brother..!

Hello Sterlinjection,
I am 7 days behind you as you can see my time line. You got MR. Some of US like Ovais, we are still waiting for MR under same VO. I just wanted to know what is your magical thing that trigger your application. What are your thoughts?
I have included
1. Most updated application form (Bar code)
2. Police verification from both countries (UK & Bangladesh)
3. IELTS (7 Band)
4. Two years work experience (UK) - which can easily be tracked by VO if they want

I am very much worried about my MR. Though I have already applied for CAIPs to know the inside situation.
It is very frustrating for all LVO applicant compared to other. Wish all of us receive MR very soon. I would really appreciate it if you can share your experience. Thanks

hmmm nice judgement of thread .
actually in my opinion they have specified dates for MI3 applicants .as after that they are working on the backlogs as well.when you carefully study the currently processed candidates they are mostly pre june,and also i saw the y have worked on 2009 applicants.so i think your worries will fly with in a week when they will return to MI3.the only difference i think is that.wish you all the best .....

wondering yet DD is not en-cashed

NDVO seems to be on vacation until Holi :o :o as not hearing much updates..!

Dear all forumites there is an Indian festival coming up on this Wednesday called Holi

A festival that signifies that

Truth is always going to win

And life is full of different colours and that is common to all

God treats everyone equally without bothering about his/her religion,race or gender or anything...!!

So wishing you all a very happy holi...

Proof of Landing Funds email reply from CHC - New Delhi, India

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

The amount of funds you need to have in order to settle in Canada depends on the size of your family. The funds must be available to you and transferable to Canada. They must be unencumbered by debts or other obligations.

Number of family members
Funds required
1 - $11,086
2 - $13,801
3 - $16,967
4 - $20,599
5 - $23,364
6 - $26,350
7 or more - $29,337

Acceptable proof of funds are:

-bank accounts in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable investments in your name or the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner;
-cashable fixed deposits in your name of the name of your accompanying spouse/common-law partner.

Not acceptable are:

-bank accounts in someone else's name;
-bank accounts which are joint in your name and someone else (other than your accompanying spouse/common-law partner);
-bank accounts in the name of your spouse who is not accompanying you to Canada;
-property valuations;
-vehicle valuations;
-jewellery valuations.

You are not required to carry your funds in cash when you arrive in Canada. You are, however, required to show documentary evidence that you have the funds available (in bank accounts or cashable investments), and that they can be transferred to Canada.

A port of entry officer in Canada may seek to confirm these funds before granting you permanent residence along with your dependants. (was in indirect form in this sentence only).

If you have arranged employment in Canada, you do not have to meet these financial requirements. Arranged employment means that you have an offer of indeterminate employment from an employer in Canada. You must be either currently working in that employment on a work permit in Canada, or have been issued a labour market opinion has must have been provided by the Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). In order to be exempt from the minimum funds requirement, the offer of employment must be genuine, the employment must not part-time or seasonal, the wages offered must be consistent with the prevailing wage rate for the occupation, and the working conditions must meet generally accepted Canadian standards.
