Hi august applicant here. embassy received my apps on aug16.

I'm from the Philippines and my application was sent directly to Sydney, NS. (It was my consultancy who sent it) anybody here with the same situation as mine? so far i haven't received anything yet, even my CC hasn't been charged yet.

Continually praying and crossing our fingers :)

i had the same circumstance as yours. i'm from philippines. it's in a normal process - sending docs to Nova Scotia.
piece of advise. DO NOT CONDITION your mind to WAIT for the replies. they will eventually reply.
WAITING will only lead to STRESS and it's not good.
just offer everything to the Lord and surely, He'll answer your prayers in no time.

Note: i submitted mine last july 4 and currently, im on Medical Request. i did not condition my mind to wait. things just came as fast as i could have expected. :)

hi kazuhirowatanabe, good day to you.. yes that's what i have been doing... a lot of posts in other thread said they have been declined because of cap reached, but we should not lose hope not until we received a letter from CIC. I know we all are very anxious, but in GOd's time, those positive response will come. Good luck to all of us. Lets pray for each other. :)

My wife's medical has expired one month ago. Our file has been in process since october 2010. I emailed Damascus (septmber 2011) regarding status and they said: Please be advised that your wife's application is in queue for review by the responsible officer. When a decision is made or we require any additional information or documents, you or your spouse will be contacted.how long will it take?

Dear, Just wait and watch...... with out any demand from CIO, you should not send any thing to them. It is advisable. Let them ask first than take a step forward..........
