anyone has an update yet?

I was looking at my GCMS notes this morning and trying to figure out if there is any relation between missing address link on eCAS and file updates in GCMS. I am not sure if they both are related but below is what I noticed.

My Address link was missing on eCAS:
from July 21, 2011 to July 22, 2011
There was an update in file just 4 days before the address went missing. also it was during weekend, so I am not sure if that was an auto update by the computer system or manual. I am sure they do not work during weekends. I guess the update was by the system.

My Address link was missing again on eCAS:
from September 04, 2011 to September 22, 2011
I noticed there were multiple updates to the file during this period including a status update that says "In Transit" (my file was transferred from buffalo to NYC), the primary office was changed to NYC and NYC updated some info after receiving the file etc.

Also there were updates in April and May of 2011 but I was not having access to my file on eCAS that time. so I can not say if the address was missing or not that time.

others who got GCMS may share their info.

Have a great weekend.

Finally!! Got my PPR today morning!!!

Feel like shouting this at full blast from roof tops.

Feel very very happy and relieved.

For those who are waiting....there is light at the end of the tunnel just dont stop hoping (I was kind of last of the batch, in fact I am a July applicant).

For new applicants, make sure you have your application as complete as possible, this is the shortest way.

For everyone.....please do not stop posting on the forums. It keeps everyones hopes up and it keeps one going even if that light at the end of the tunnel is far far away. Dont stop!

Congratulations forberta!! very happy to see your message.

Good Luck with your visa and landing.

One more thing...

The status on my ECAS never changed. It still shows "In Process" and still only shows that the file was transferred to Detroit. Nothing else is posted. So I guess the ECAS is not as updated as we like it to be.

Hi, Guys, sorry for the delay to share my timeline, pretty busy recently:

Case received by Buffalo: the first week of Oct, 2010

FN and ME received: late April, 2011

Medical received by Ottawa: the first week of May, 2011

Case transferred to NY: Sep.15, 2011

Email PPR: Oct.11, 2011

Passport sent: Oct,13, 2011
Passport back (using UPS courier return envelope i provided): Oct 24, 2011

one comment: There are different types of PNP each province. and different PNP has different processing time at federal stage. It means Federal has its own priority list. For those who have been working in Canada and sponsored by the employers, their processing time is comparatively fast, averagely 9-10 months. Others, may be slower.

Hope good luck on everyone. We know what we have been through during the long and suffering waiting, you deserve it. Thanks, Guys.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 4, 2010.
