Thanks for the reply.
Anything else we need to know before landing

can we declare the amount of goods we can bring at a later time, even though we are landing now.
Any forms we need to fill while landing?

I did my landing on 16-12-16,

You dont need US visa for landing

I would suggest to go by car its very easy process,

Just go to bridge, you will fine US border guy, mention that you came for landing he needs just passport. he will see in car how many people and who all doing landing etc.

then he came out of his booth and direct to the next officer, who give the letter with the name mentioning for who all doing landing (looks like rough rejection letter)

He will direct towards toll booth, where you need to pay 4.75 CAD dollar to enter again in Canada.

In Canada side you need to show passport and COPR letter, there he will give one yellow slip and ask to park the car (lots of space and free parking there so no worries )go to the building

That building they will take your passport COPR and yellow slip and asked to wait, after while he will call your name and ....

I just received Passport and COPR for both me and my wife.

Going to landing now to Niagara

We landed today at Niagara Rainbow Bridge. Me and my wife.
We went in our car.
same process as above said by Vikas.

Th officer who did our paper work on the canada side was very friendly, answered all our questions.
He said we are going to get our PR cards in 6 weeks.

Hi Vikas / Babu,

I am planning to go today, got my passport yesterday.

Hope i can drive car to cross the bridge and back again without any trouble, having 4 months old baby.

Some of my friends told to park car at canada side and cross the bridge by walk :(

Yes you can drive in car, No problem
If you are going to Rainbow bridge, walk is also fine. you can see good views and night lights and holiday lighting. It is very beautiful.

I also have 4 months old kid, I left her with grandparents on canada side and Only me and my wife went in car.
My kid is born in Canada and she is having canadian passport.
I am not sure while me and my wife are flagpoling, can my canadian kid come with us in car? so we didn't take her with us.

Did he mention if you have to travel in next couple weeks what you need?

Yes . He said if you are traveling by land , COPR is enough to travel between Canada and US.
But if you are traveling by air COPR is not enough, as airlines will not accept.
He said we need to get a travel document from IRCC, Check IRCC website for this. That is what he said
